This is the biggest box I ever made. A commission to store garden tools including a full sized lawn mover. Pretty pleased with the result - solid, watertight and not too bad looking either.
And as with every transformation, there's a story. First off, I spent a good while inside the box to screw from the inside so that fixings are not visible from the outside. So long in fact, I very nearly screwed myself inside the box. Then tacking the felt on the roof was troublesome in a gentle breeze - luckily a kindly Polish chap happened to pass the garden gate and moments later he was part of the team. And finally, I've no idea how heavy it is (I'd guess 150 kg, maybe more) so moving it presents it's own challenge...
