You've got to keep things sharp...

Hummm. More rain. Rained all day Thursday like I've never seen it rain since it rained so hard. And again yesterday. So it was a day for sharpening up. Two pairs of garden scissors, both pairs of shears, loppers, billhook, anvil secateurs, three sets of bypass secateurs, grass hook, sickle, hoe and spade. Amazing results from 40 grit paper, a little 3-in-1 oil and my reversible stone with a final wipe over with olive oil to prevent any disease from the sharpening process entering into plants. The satisfaction of a sharp set of tools is quite indescribable...
